I'm putting this painting as watercolor, because even though I used highlighter markers, I used them as if they were watercolors. And I used watercolor as well. I love the neon look the highlighter ink created and it's so fun and bold. It was more of an experiment, but I do love how it turned out. Definitely something I'm going to be doing again!
