#847 Carmel Monestery It was so nice to get outside in the fresh air along the Carmel coast. This was painted while I sat on a bench at the Carmel Monestery looking out toward the Pacific Ocean. I was experimenting with gouache outside and playing with some new techniques. I was looking through some trees to paint this and left out those trees. I can do that as an artist, but the camera caught them, as you can see in the photo.
