Deliberate Portrait Practice Series 91/250 "EARTH, WIND & FIRE", 6" x 8", oil on boardI met Helly a couple of years back while doing my school motivational gigs at Vienna. She struck me as very beautiful within and without. Ever since that gig we have been in contact with each other, she came to interview me in my studio for an article she wrote as part of her journalism course at University.
Here I represent her as earth because she is so down to earth, wind because of the freshness she brings and fire, because she is passionate about whatever she embarks upon.In this piece, there was no technique, all my techniques went out of the window because it was such a small surface to work on and there was a lot of detail, so I drew into the paint and painted into the drawing until I arrived at somehow what I assume as the end....
