Sometimes the graces we are to embrace do not come in the most attractive ways.
Faith cannot be fully embraced without a trial. Hope cannot be fully embraced without a long delay and love cannot be fully embraced without a betrayal or hatred. This piece began with light oil washes and was finished off with pastel etching on board.
