Mary. It’s the simple gaze, the authentic look, the simplicity of her belief and the audacity of her faith when she said, “Be it unto me according to your Word”. Oh I wish I had faith like that!. This was painted in four colours, Titanium White, Cadmium Yellow, Cadmium Red & Ultramarine. It’s the Primary Colours palette. It was also featured in the Artists & Illustrators Magazine March 2024, in my portrait series. There I show how I painted this from beginning to the end. Mary.
