This is Nubian Queen, a painting of a beautiful black woman with the Zorn palette. It’s a current series of paintings I’m working on the black woman as The Nubian Queen. The Zorn Palette consists of White, Yellow Ochre, Cadmium Red and Ivory Black. I’ve used thick oil paint to enhance her features and create textures to portray her elegance.
