Deliberate Portrait Practice Series 74/250 "PRINCESS SERINA", 6" x 8", oil on MDF I met Serina a couple of years back while doing my school motivational gigs. She struck me as very beautiful within and without. With this portrait of her, there was no main reference, this was made out of a composite of many pictures and my imagination, I'm just exploring all ways to enjoy painting portraits. I painted this with the inside-out technique. It was painted in full alla prima and the Oil was mostly thinned with solvent and dammar varnish glaze.
