Portrait Deliberate Practice Series 109/250. "QUEEN ADAMA", 6" x 8", oil on BoardThis is my attempt at capturing the Bronx beautiful fashion model Adama. I really loved this picture of her but it wasn't the clearest so I tried my best to improvise.I love the effect of light on black skin and this was an opportunity to experiment with this theme a bit further.
I painted it with the outside- in technique with pure juicy Winsor and Newton Oils with no solvents or mediums, just the pure, solid oil colour.If you'll like to be part of this series just send me a direct message - the only condition is that it must go up for sale.
