I went to a figure painting event today. The nude model wore a flower garland. I wanted to paint some type of clothing on her--the sad demeanor of the pose brought to mind the image of a peasant from the past. I think that the drooping strap looks somewhat defeated, but the flower garland in her hair suggests some positivity.
Trying to add some long strokes into my repertoire.
