We took a fantastic trip out west one summer. There were so many sights to see, and I would have loved to stop and paint at many places. There were time constrains though, but I was able to do a bunch of sketches. I did this painting from one of the sketches and my impressions. We took a walk in the woods near Leavenworth, Washington.
