Everyone who has been to Ireland knows that delicious Irish coffee is available in all the pubs. Irish whiskey is, of course, one of the major ingredients. There are several Irish whiskeys available. All are very good, but one, inspired by ancient distilling traditions in the mountainous west of Ireland, the Connemara, is special in that it is made over a peat fire. The peat gives the whiskey a delightful smoky flavor. The small label on the bottle depicts the mountains of the Connemara.
This painting shows the ingredients in Connemara Irish Coffee, minus the heavy cream. Thus its name. The painting is 11 x 14.
