Our 92 year-old neighbor is quite the gardner. This year his tomato crop was very good, and he shared with the neighborhood. This was my first effort at painting tomatoes. I created the "tomato red" with cadmium free red light and alizarin crimson, with a tiny touch of green. The wooden bowl was purchased at a professional meeting silent auction many years ago. My first time to paint it.
