The two brass vases in this painting I purchased in Pakistan
while working there in 1975. As I ended my professional assignment there I made
a brief visit to India. There I purchased the brass bell. I was told it is a
Hindu bell. This is my first attempt at painting brass, and I did not
succeed fully. I probably created the brass color best in the small vase. The
bell is apparently quite old and is much corroded. I would be happy to hear
from fellow artists who have experience painting brass. I need your advice,
please.
