Mary Beth and I were attending a professional meeting in Albuquerque. We went on to Arizona to visit dear friends who, at the time, were living in Flagstaff. We went to the Grand Canyon, Mary Beth's first time to see the canyon. We also went to the quaint village of Sedona. As we were approaching a rain storm had just occurred, and the sun came out as it was setting. The suset as captured in this painting was both a combination of dark clouds and bright light. Notice the columnar landscape formations almost in the dark as the sun sets.Mary Beth and I were attending a professional meeting in Albuquerque.
