Virtuallly all of Irish potter Jack O'Patsy's work bears the Newgrange swirl as seen on this tea cup. The design comes from the ancient burial site north of Dublin, and scholars believe it represents the sun.
Every afternoon I have Irish tea from this cup or one very similar; often in the evening I also have a glass of wine. Thus the name of the painting. This painting is on 9 x 12 stretched canvas and is in a beautiful gold leaf frame.
