These pears were mostly green when we purchased them from Misfits Market. After a few days in our fruit basket, they turned yellow then a wonderful golden, as they began to ripen. Along with a flat stone from our garden and an English cordial bottle, I created this still life, using my favorite very dark background-- the Baroque style.
