There are several really fine whiskeys made in Ireland. This painting depicts three of those: Jameson, Tullamore Dew, and Connemara. Jameson, the best known, is distilled in Midleton, County Cork, near The Half Light Gallery where I now have several paintings. Tullamore Dew is made in the village of Tullamore in County Offaly, and is the second best-selling brand globally. Connemara is unique among Irish whiskeys in that it has a distinctive peaty flavor and aroma. This comes from the malting barely being dried over a peat fire. Connemara is Ireland's most award-winning whiskey. In the painting, the Connemara container is a special edition cylindrical carton containing the bottle. The painting was a bit challenging as I had to, as closely as possible, approximate the lettering on the carton. I hope I did honor to this fine Irish spirit. With more information than you perhaps wanted, try one or more of these whiskeys. If you do, however, do so in moderation! There are several really fine whiskeys made in Ireland.
