This sketch is inspired by the market in Rome, Italy. How hospitable are the sellers there, who treat you with cheese, jamon, beautiful cityscape, picturesque streets

My friends and I traveled to Rome in 2019. while walking, we went to the local market to buy groceries for dinner. I liked the atmosphere, around a lot of different vegetables and fruits, cheese, sellers treat you, give you a try. There are a lot of people around, but it only makes the market more atmospheric and fun, people can hear noise and emotions. So I made a sketch, a fragment of this market.

My painting watercolor on cotton paper, using mainly palette brush and watercolor paints.  Watercolors give this work a special lightness and airiness. I like paint with watercolors using the ala prima technique, using the effects of splatter, transparency and color saturation.  

Of course, I walk around the city and watch all the time. It doesn't matter if I travel in my city or somewhere, I see places that are interesting in terms of color, composition and especially in terms of content. I like to paint more crowded places where meetings or some walks usually take place.

More often than not, these are cozy cafes in the atmosphere of the city's urban streets. Of course, I take most of the beautiful places from my travels, because they open my eyes to the beauty of the world, new places, the color of the city, architecture, old buildings and much more.
