I painted this Waterfall landscape from nature, in the Carpathian mountains in Village Yaremche. In my painting, I captured the beautiful nature around, water, forest, mountains, a house that is heated with wood and a couple of people admiring the beautiful view.

The vocation of the works is to show the world what it really is and to evoke powerful emotions from art, because it is nice when a person finds and recognizes himself in a painting, sees in it moments from his own life.  I love watercolor painting for its magic, transparency and lightness. I painted only with professional watercolors, brushes on thick cotton paper.

My painting watercolor on cotton paper, using mainly palette brush and watercolor paints.  Watercolors give this work a special lightness and airiness. I like paint with watercolors using the ala prima technique, using the effects of splatter, transparency and color saturation.
