Media: Oil wood panel, varnished, unframed
Size: 6x6 in
A peaceful summer evening at the Alton Baker canal while the kids were fishing. The rippled shapes on the water caught my eye.
The patterns of the reflections remind me of a spectrogram, a mathematical tool for the visual analysis of sound.
This was painted outdoors in one sitting, plein air, alla prima.
Oil on wood panel, varnished, unframed.
