Demeter, mother goddess of the harvest. She waits, expectant. One of a series of nudes, drawn from life, that manifest our mental projections of classic archetypes onto the male and female figure. Working with varied media and subjects, keeps my eye fresh and helps me see what attracts me across varied modes of expression. Angles, Contrast. Texture, Atmosphere. My drawing style, and chosen subjects, are relaxed and unpretentous. Ink wash and graphite on 140# cold-press acid free watercolor paper.
