This was painted on-site on a rainy day from the shelter of my cargo van. Late spring in Oregon brings plenty of rain, visible in the distant green hills and softening the light.
This was painted outdoors in one sitting, plein air, alla prima. Oil paint on stretched canvas, varnished, unframed.
