I painted this with a knife. The sky is composed of closely related violets and blues with a palette knife thickly loaded with paint. Each stroke of the knife shows the partially mixed color. Smooth areas contrast with rough textures in the water. I have framed it in a black floater frame and shipping is still free. I painted this with a knife.
