Amish Country - An original matted watercolor line and wash painting by Pennsylvania artist David Young. The Amish and their buggies are a common sight in the area where I live. They even have their own hitching posts at the local Walmart and it's usual to see them there. Nice folks. Line and wash paintings seem mostly of urban scenes; rural buildings; botanicals and lighthouses. Mine are no exception, so I thought I'd try something a little different for a change. Lots of buggies about but few people painting them. This little painting is 4" x 6'' with an acid-free mat bringing it up to 8" x 10" - a stock frame size. Painting and mat are both new and in excellent condition. Full price for painting and mat is $70.00 and includes free shipping to any location within the Continental US.
