"Barnside" A matted and framed watercolor by Pennsylvania artist David Young I love the textures of old weathered barnwood. It's always a challenge to portray it convincingly. This was painted from a photograph of a barn which I then cropped to provide a more interesting view. Often, a small corner of a building is more intriguing to me than the entire building. The painting is on Strathmore 140 lb. paper and painted with Winsor & Newton Professional Grade paints. It is double matted with museum quality mat boards and framed under glass. The image size is: 6-1/2" x 9-1/2" Overall size with mats: 11-3/4:" x 14-1/2" The price of this original framed painting is $275.00 Handling, packing and insured shipping is free.
