Devon Village - East Budleigh, Devon, England. A small watercolor line and wash painting by Pennsylvania artist David Young. The inspiration for this painting was an old postcard, about 1910 I'd guess. I experimented and painted it on acid-free mat board. Very smooth and so unlike watercolor paper. I like the feel and will do more. The painting is 5" x 7" and matted to 8" x 10", a stock frame size. Excellent new condition.
