RMS Titanic - An original ink line and watercolor wash painting by Pennsylvania artist David Young I’m really enjoying my new found technique of line and wash and I’ve studied the many fine artists who’s works are exhibited all over the internet. In doing so, I’ve noticed that most of them stick to a rather limited range of subjects … mostly buildings, rural and urban; and botanicals. Nobody seems to paint ships. Since ships are among my favorite subjects, I thought I’d give one a try. So, here’s the iconic “Titanic”. It’s 7” x 9” on 140 lb watercolor paper. I’ve matted it with the final size being 11” x 14” Full price of the painting and mat is $120.00 and includes free insured shipping to any destination within the Continental US.
