Stone Barn, Stouchburg (PA) - by Pennsylvania artist David Young One of my favorite barns just about three miles from my house. I've painted it several times. I was there photographing it one day, when the owner happened to be there. He invited me in for a look around. Fantastic old building. Probably built in the early 19th. century by German settlers and now about two hundred years old. It sits next to a main road which was probably a cart track when it was built. I took a few liberties with the background. it's not quite that countryfied any more. Full price of the framed painting is $275.00. This includes free packing and insured shipment to anywhere in the Continental US.
