"The Linseed Mill" - An original watercolor painting by Pennsylvania artist David Young. This building is part of the Prallsville Mill complex in Stockton, New Jersey. A beautufully restored and preserved group of buildings dating back to 1794. Many artists have painted the Mill itself, but the little stone Linseed Mill nearby is a less popular subject. I found it to be very inviting, sitting off by itself and just as interesting as the more popular mill building. In recent years, the Linseed Mill has been used as an art gallery. The day I visited, an artist was conducting a painting workshop inside. The painting is on 140 lb. cold press paper using Winsor & Newton paints. It's double matted using museum quality mats and framed under glass. The painting size is 11-1/2" x 10" and framed, overall it's 18-1/2" x 16-1/2" The price of the framed painting is $285.00 which includes free packing and insured shipping.
