Tree Line - an original gouache (opaque watercolor) painting by Pennsylvania artist David Young. A line of mature trees borders a recently plowed field. I tried this painting in oil several years ago but consigned it to my 'failure' file when very disappointed with the result. Tried it again, this time in gouache, which in many respects is harder to work with than oils, and this time, I'm quite pleased with the result. It's a keeper. Painted on illustration board, the image is 6" x 8". I've matted the painting with a pale grayish green mat. Full size with mat is 10" x 12" Full price of the matted painting is $245.00 and includes free insured shipping to any destination within the Continental US.
