There's a trail close to our home where I ride my bike and a goose family raises chicks every spring. One early morning this spring I knew the family would be there so I grabbed my camera to take photos and off I went on my bike. The light was so great and the geese although wary of me, allowed me to get close enough for some good photos. I love how the adult geese keep the chicks between them and always have a sharp eye out for any danger. I can't imagine trying to keep tabs on 12 to 15 babies and right next to a busy street, yes the trail runs along a busy street.
Due to the limitation and inconsistencies of various display monitors, the colors you see on your screen may not be a totally accurate reproduction of the actual painting but I work to get the best likeness possible. (c) Deborah A. Kirkeeide
