I started this painting, months ago, but the storm overtook me and I didn't finish it. I've been thinking about it. I remember the weird storm light, moments before the rain and wind swooped down. The fresh smell of the ozone. It's such a brief moment, it's hard to capture in real time. It had to settle in my memory.
