I am so lucky to have this view from my studio. I am surrounded by these beautiful aspen trees that have something to offer every season. And to top it off, we have a seasonal pond just past the trees. I did take some artistic llicense with the pond as it is mostly covered in lilly pads right now. Painting aspen trees has always been a big challenge for me so I guess it was fate that I landed in this spot, to give me a lesson. I will continue to work on more accurately portraying these beautiful trees. This painting is unframed and will need time to dry get a coat of varnish.
