Media: acrylic on watercolor paper
Size: 7.9x7.9 in
Two tests today: First, I have painted this with acrylics on watercolor paper. The assumption that this is much faster than painting on canvas is sadly mistaken. The paper takes the color blazing fast and the drying time is shorter. I had to work in many more layers than usual. Plus the application of color is more difficult because the colors easily »drowns«. This bridges the gap for the second test: I now wanted to drown the 'new klassik drink'. It is less sweet than the original (which is good) and the label already says it all: »inspired« by the original. The flavor does not blow my socks off, but I concern it as drinkable. The beverage is made with 30% whey to bypass the German bottle bill (CDL). Note bene: A milky effect is also present in a painting, if you mix too much white in your color.
