During shopping tours through the city, I am intuitively and subconsciously looking for useful things to paint. If something's spotted for being worth enough, I rummage out my sketchbook or my (mobile phone's) camera. Only a fraction of the photos then I really paint later. Shoes always make perfect painting motifs -amho.
