After I reshaped the composition, the picture became more compact and darker. Thus, in the end, an evening scene has emerged. The stores are about to close- It's raining. The street reflects the light. I made a conscious decision not to make the reflections too strong and gimmicky. For me the level of detail is now sufficiently so that the viewer can complete the rest in her or his imagination. Nachdem ich die Komposition neu gestaltet hatte, wurde das Bild immer kompakter und dunkler. So hat sich letztlich eine abendliche Szene ergeben. Die Geschäfte schließen gleich, es regnet ein wenig und die Straße reflektiert das Licht. Ich habe mich bewusst entschieden, die Reflektionen nicht zu stark und effekthascherisch zu machen. Auch ist mir der Detailgrad nun ausreichend groß, dass sich der Betrachter (und die -innen und -außen) den Rest in der Fantasie ergänzen kann.
