This was painted a little while ago... But I've been going through the stacks looking for inspiration. Felt a little too hot to go for a hike today. Anyway this was an interesting one. I started with a pretty detailed drawing of the leaves. That turned out to be a good idea, they dried so quickly! Even quicker than orange peels. I'm glad I had most of it down, because I had to work moslty from memory. Such cool shapes. I don't know why I didn't post this one right after it was done...I like it!
