This is a quick oil sketch of a large and lovely chrysanthemum flower that I bought at the market one day. Placed in one of my favorite still life props...the red pottery jug with a piece of purple amaranth laying on the table. The painting is on a 10x10 gallery wrapped stretched canvas. The sides are painted, so it doesn't need to be framed. It is wired and ready to hang.
