These little guys are surprisingly LOUD!!! The first time we heard him, in Florida, we thought it was a larger bird because of how loud the song. They are small. We often hear him first thing in the morning, calling out joyously. They are shy and it took a long time before we saw one! We only knew what to look for by identifying his song first, online. I love hearing them! Most of my original oil paintings are 5”x7”. I paint “small” cuz we live “small” (full-time RVers). These little beauties fit anywhere: on a shelf, wall, countertop; they can be framed in a variety of ways or placed on a decorative easel. They also make great gifts!
