This painting was inspired by a photo I took on our way home from my son’s. We were on Eastbound 52, heading toward 589, then 41, Spring Hill, Florida. This 5x7" oil painting captures the serene beauty of a wide, empty road stretching into the horizon under a breathtaking Florida sunset. The sky is adorned with soft hues of blue and purple, transitioning into a spectacular display of pink and orange clouds. Birds fly gracefully in the distance, adding a touch of life to the tranquil scene. The meticulous detail in the clouds and road, combined with the play of light and shadow, is meant to evoke a sense of calm and wonder. This piece was wholeheartedly inspired by the awe-inspiring sunsets of Florida, and I hope it conveys the tranquility and beauty that these moments bring to me.
