Meet "Speckles" - the sassy, speckled chicken. πβ¨ She passed away recently. I painted this in honor of her. She was a very special hen. She was our ranch neighbor’s chicken, but she would make her rounds here in the RV Resort, getting hand-outs from many. I trained her to hop up on our picnic table bench and take grapes out of my hand. Otherwise, she didn’t get any! Often, she would call me in her soft voice to come out. I miss her!!
