I painted this one to focus on mostly just using the complementary colors blue and orange. I chose to work with bluebirds and poppies because I thought they would make good subjects for this painting. It is my own composition and used several reference photos, one by Photographer Steve Lyddon for the poppies, and 5 by Photographer Linda Anderson for the bluebirds.
