This beautiful scene is Kauri Mountain Beach located in New Zealand. I used a lovely reference photo by photographer Diane Lesley Boucher. I felt the urge to paint a beach scene and this one was the one that called out to me the most. I love how the trees and cliffs are framing the beautiful ocean and distant mountain in the center. I painted this one with a palette knife, it was quite an enjoyable one to work with.
This is an original painting, painted with acrylics, and medium paste, on a 16 x 20 stretched canvas, completed with a coat of varnish. Signed by the Artist Gloria Ester, and comes with an Authentication Certificate. (C)ARTstraussa watermark does not appear on actual painting. All rights reserved.
