Media: Acrylic using a palette knife

This is my 21st Autumn painting for the 30 paintings in 30 days challenge. This is my own compostion using a couple of reference photos for the mallards. I had been wanting to paint a few different kind of animals with flowers and pumpkins for this challenge, but I couldn't decide which animals to paint till I saw these two mallards and knew I wanted to put them together in a painting.
This is an original painting , painted with a palette knife using gel medium and acrylics on 8" x 10" stretched canvas, completed with a coat of varnish. Sides of the canvas are painted, and it comes with a saw-tooth hook on the back for quick hanging. Signed by the Artist Gloria Ester, and comes with an Authentication Certificate. (C)ARTstraussa watermark does not appear on actual painting. All rights reserved.
