Day 2 of my 30 paintings in 30 days challenge. This beautiful scene was taken in McKittrick Canyon which is part of the Guadalupe Mountains National Park located in West Texas and into New Mexico. This was a quick one that I really enjoyed working on. Photo reference by Photographer Amelia.
This is an original painting , painted with a palette knife using gel medium and acrylics on 8" x 10" stretched canvas, completed with a coat of varnish. Sides of the canvas are painted, and it comes with a saw-tooth hook on the back for quick hanging. Signed by the Artist Gloria Ester, and comes with an Authentication Certificate.
