I love Poinsettas, who doesn't? The beautiful dark red against the bottom green leaves. I've always loved how red and green looks together.
Although this painting doesn't include snow, Poinsettas are sure a part of many people's winter, making this painting my 13th winter scene painting for the challenge I'm working on this month.
It was a fun one to work with, especially working on such a small canvas. I really love the way it turned out even though it's just a simple scene, the rich red colors are so attractive to me. Comes varnished, with sides painted, a sawtooth hook and Authentication Papers.
