Media: Acrylic on 5 x 7 canvas.
Size: 5x7 in
This is a plein air painting I did of a couple of large, ripe figs growing on a fig tree right outside my front door. It's not always easy to capture ripe figs like this, the birds always seem to win me to the best pickings. I don't mind though, I like to eat figs, but the birds appear to like them more. I remember is was late evening when I painted these and I had to finish up quickly since the sun was already going down. I enjoyed it though. It is an original painting and is painted using acrylics on quality 5 x 7 stretched canvas, completed with a coat of varnish. Sides of the canvas are painted and it comes with a saw-tooth hook for quick hanging till a frame can be acquired. Comes with Authentication papers.
