First Boat Out is a scene of very, very early morning when the cool shades of midnight clouds and darkness begin to burn away in the rising sun. The contrast of greys and blues against rosy yellows and orange in those moments is stunning. Getting out on the beach before sunrise it is a surprise to see the fisherman who have gotten up hours earlier to be out on the water. This painting was done from a series of photos taken along the coast near Melbourne, Florida in early 2021. This work is currently on display at The Pizza Gallery in Viera, Florida along with more of my work based on local scenes. Acrylics on canvas 12"x16" and approximately .75" deep. This canvas will fit in most standard frames with a deeper bevel/opening in back. Removing the glass is recommended: The painting is best viewed without glass. Shipping in the USA is included in the price. Your painting is carefully packaged & shipped within 2 business days by priority mail and should be received within a week of your order.
