Autumn Pathway. 6x6 inch oil on panel. I had just finished a larger painting and my palette was still full of mixed paint. So I pulled out a small panel and painted away without stress of the outcome. Sometimes these turn out better than the prior painting! I feel the colors were very harmonious and grayed down just right from painting swiftly with the little piles of oil paint from the previous painting. A happy little extra!
