Earth Day at Eagle Marsh. Painted on location 4/23/23. 9x12 inch oil on panel. It was a very chilly, windy gray day with a few rain/snow/sleet drops. I was very tempted to stay home. My painting gear was already packed and I knew if I just showed up and started painting, I wouldn't regret it. So I bundled up in layers and headed out. I was right. There was a great turn out. I was inspired by a ribbon of sunlight peeking through the gray sky and the new Spring greens popping on the landscape. Earth Day at Eagle Marsh. Painted on location 4/23/23. 9x12 inch oil on panel.
